Café Babalu is such a unique and cozy place,
with friendly staff and homey ambiance that makes it hard to leave.
Light meals are offered for low prices, such as crêpes, soups, and
sandwiches, as well as delicious fresh-baked cakes and
desserts. New York Cheesecake is their specialty, one word
-yum. They have an outside dining balcony which is packed in
the summer. Live music featured on many weekends. The owner Glenn
Barkan is from New York, he moved the Iceland in 2004 to marry
his boyfriend, Thorhallur Vilhjalmsson. Open every day from 11 am
to 11 pm.
