Proof that rain is romantic

We still get the biggest smile on our faces when our minds wander to E&J, such a wonderful gorgeous couple who truly embraced the elements during their Iceland Elopement and proofed once and for all that rain is romantic.

We're honoured to be sharing their day as it was such a delight being their wedding planners and we thank Everbay Studios for the wonderful photos!

If that look that E is shooting over at J doesn't say LOVE we don't know what does!

The soon to be married couple got ready separately in the chic 101 neighbourhood - down town Reykjavik and then met up for a first look at the main street Laugavegur before heading out on the Reykjanes peninsula for their wedding ceremony.

Mother nature was already noticeably present upon arrival as she had plans of being the guest of honour! The group met up with darling Tryggvi from Siðmennt who would be performing their wedding ceremony.

We are so in love with how Everybay Studio captures moments and emotions

Cheers to the newlyweds! Pink Iceland Wedding planner Valdi pouring the bubbles and figuring out their next moves as the group toasts.

It's great to have connections to a private venue towering above Reykjavik when the conditions aren't exactly suitable for an outdoor picnic. Celebration of marriage, love and friendship over cocktails and live music, that's pretty amazing.

Speciality cocktails prepared for the newlyweds.

How incredibly cozy and Icelandic is it to include a geothermal dip on your wedding day? After the stormy weather and delicious cocktails they warmed up in Sky Lagoon before the wedding dinner.

Tides restaurant is located at the ground level of the new Marriott Hotel close to Harpa Concert hall and they have a lovely private room tucked away in the corner of the restaurant which was just perfect for their intimate reception at the end of the wedding day. Special thanks for the custom cake made for the newlyweds.

Thank you E&J from the bottom of our Pink Iceland hearts for choosing us as your wedding planners, it was a pleasure and a privilege to get to know you and share in the love that was all around on your wedding day. We can't wait to catch up next time you are in Iceland or when we get to Brooklyn.
