On a beautiful day in May M&A woke up in Reykjavik, Iceland excited to get the day started as it was after all their wedding day. And what a day it was! 50 of their closest family came all the way to Iceland to celebrate their Wedding. The mood of the day was intimate and loving and we just love how Sunday and White Wedding photographers captured their day.
It's almost fitting that there were drops of rain during the ceremony cause as M walked down the aisle a song by Daniel Ceasar, Best Part, played and his lyrics go: 'You're my sunshine in the rain when it's pouring'
The love between these two was obvious and impressive and got us in all our feelings. Thank you for including Pink Iceland as your wedding planner, we're excited to share your day!
Getting ready for the first touch. The couple wanted to see each other for the first time at the wedding ceremony in Thingvellir National Park but snuck in a First Touch in down town Reykjavik before heading out to the ceremony.
Reaching around the corner to take your partners hand morning of the wedding day before you see each other at the ceremony. The building they are so beautifully leaning against is the Parliament building in Reykjavik, built in 1880.
Arriving in Thingvellir National Park is always impressive. There is such rich history there as well it being the place where tectonic plates are pulling a part creating beautiful rifts and impressive landscapes.
The Wedding ceremony was held in a secluded place in the park and the ceremony performed by the wonderful Humanist officiant Tryggvi.
Iðnó Theater is one of our favourite reception venues in Reykjavik. The classic looks with the view of the Reykjavik pond.
