P&C got married in Iceland last fall and due to a severe weather storm the Pink Iceland team had to postpone their wedding one day. The Wedding day was not at all what they expected but turned out much much better as they shared with us afterwards.

Flexibility, knowledge and responsiveness are key when it comes to being an Iceland Wedding planner and that was certainly put to the test. To begin with the weather forecast was not great but we saw that this day was the best possibility for them to get married outdoors and get the ceremony they wanted.

The day started at Hotel Kría where they got ready and wrote their vows. The talented Laimonas with Sunday and White Studio was their photographer and Aryan Dariush was their videographer.

They originally planned to get married at Kvernufoss but on the way there we changed the location to another beautiful waterfall close by as the other location was very crowded and they wanted more privacy during their ceremony. The new location was beautiful and just what they had in mind to make sure their ceremony was intimate and private. As soon the ceremony started it started to rain heavily which kind of made it even more romantic? There is an old saying in Iceland that states that if it rains on your wedding day it will bring you good luck and happiness - so we always welcome the rain (in small doses).

Despite the storm and the rain their wedding photos are so beautiful and as they said their day was not as  they expected but much much better
